How do I book a consultation?
Use the appointment form on this website, call us, or send a WhatsApp message. Our team will confirm a date and time with you.
What should I bring to my first visit?
Please bring your recent medical reports, scans, a list of the medicines you take, and any previous prescriptions. This helps Dr. Praveena understand your full history.
Should I stop my current medicines?
No. Ayurvedic care at our clinic is given alongside your existing treatment. Never stop or change prescribed medicines without talking to the doctor who prescribed them.
Can I consult if I live outside Thrissur?
Yes, many patients travel to see us. Contact us to discuss whether a remote follow-up is suitable for your situation after the first consultation.
How long does treatment take?
It depends on the condition and the person. After your consultation you will receive a personalised plan with an expected review schedule.
What is myopia and how does it affect vision?
Myopia (near-sightedness) makes distant objects look blurry while near objects stay clear. It usually happens when the eyeball is slightly longer than normal or the cornea is too curved. Signs include squinting, eye strain and headaches. It often starts in childhood and can increase during growth spurts.
What causes myopia and how can it be prevented?
Genetics, long hours of close work such as reading and screens, and too little time outdoors all play a part. Helpful habits: more outdoor play, reading at 30–40 cm in good light, regular breaks, less recreational screen time, and the 20-20-20 rule — every 20 minutes, look at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds.
What lifestyle changes does Ayurveda recommend for a healthy heart?
Regular meal and sleep times, a light, freshly cooked diet with less salt and fried food, daily gentle activity as advised by your doctor, and practices that reduce stress such as slow breathing. Dr. Praveena also prescribes personalised herbal formulations after a consultation.
Can Ayurveda help with heart failure?
Our care for heart failure is given alongside your cardiologist’s treatment, after any emergency care. Progress is tracked with your ECG and echo reports — you can see real patient reports on our Patient Stories page. Results vary from person to person.
Where is the clinic?
We are at Parathattil Garden, Padukkad Junction, Doordarsan Road, Viyyur PO, Thrissur, Kerala 680010.
